San Giorgio Luxury Apartment Taormina-Panoramic Pool & Parking Space

Location, facilities and host were amazing. Walking out the complex and you are in the heart of Taormina. Lovely infinity pool. Host was fantastic. I had to go to hospital with our 2 year old and she offered to come to translate, she went above and beyond for the 3 days.

Perfect Location - very close from Bus Station and cable car, close to Centre of Taormina, amazing view for sea and mountains. The apartament is located in amazing garden , the smell of flowers and trees was awesome. Located in quiet area but still very close to all strategic points. The apartament is more atractive than in the photos. Contact with the Owner was perfect and Loredana was very helpful and kind. I really recommend when You would like to stay in Taormina and be close to centre of Town and the same time be close to the sea and wake up with a beautiful view of the sea. We will back :)

We liked the safe car park, living room and the balcony (except the broken chairs). Swimming pool was also ok.

Finding the way to open the garage door was utterly complicated. The person, who I thought should’ve come with the keys, could not come, instead she sent us whatsapp videos, texts etc. and due to bad or no live connection it was very hard to understand what she meant, code here, knob, there, box there… we were so tired after a long and winding journey, and it was really frustrating. Wanted so badly a cup of coffee, food while waiting for her to come and explain us everything. The complex where this so-called ”luxury apartment” situated included very much stairs and turns and the area had quite dim lighting. Clearly a risk. I would not call this apartment luxury, it is more like an airbnb (with owners stuff in drawers etc): the other smaller room had a wardrobe that was locked by a hanging lock so the other couple has nowhere to store their clothes. Althoigh the beds in that room were good, it was clearly somebody’s childrens’ room, luxury? To us - no. Besides, they found somebody’s used nickers behind the chest, omg. Moreover, there were two chairs at the balcony, one very broken, other not that much, but they were covered with a chair cover, so somebody could have sat on them and fallen down!! Again - luxury?… Neither did we find a dishwasher or washing machine mentioned in Bookin.com’s survey. Shower head in the other bathroom, was coverd with lime/chalk and was falling off all the time. Would be wise to get a new one.

The apartment was really big and beautiful. Such a spectacular view from the huge terrace. Beautiful pool with cold water. So pretty access area to the apartment. really recommend.

For the price some attention to detail needed. No iron, pool towels, soap in the showers, tea towels in kitchen etc.

Great location. Described accurately. Modern building and amenities. Nice pool and view of the ocean.

It was very difficult to find and the address does not correspond to GPS coordinates, so it took about 45 - 60 minutes to work through the arrival, which was all by Whatsapp video. Also, there is no shower in the main bathroom - just a tub. The only shower was extremely tight - hard to even wash your hair. It's always appreciated when toiletries are provided - and they were not provided here. We also needed to use the washing machine and having one was a factor in our choice of this property - it was hard to figure out and no instructions were provided or offered by the host. We counted 102 stair steps to get from the apartment level to the street, then a steep uphill walk into Taormina, so make sure you can handle the uphill walk into town.
