Good sized kitchen .Pleasant roof terrace usually a choice of shade from the sun or a sunny spot ..Comfortable bed . Small supermarket 7 minutes walk away.Ortigia 25 minutes walk away .Bus services to other places are quite good , but Google won't show you them all . Not a spectacular place but it is pleasant and a good base from which to explore . Not over priced .

The kitchen is a little bit under equipped , We left a sharp knife there ,as there was nothing to slice a tomato , Could benefit from a bread knife too

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was nice to have a little balcony to enjoy some sunshine and the room was a decent size with a good quality comfortable bed. There's a small fridge in the room. Everything was clean. Location was good, near the main street of Siracusa and a 15-20 min walk to the train station from memory. The bus stop to get a bus to Catania is 5-10 min away. It's also super close to Ortiga, I went a couple of times to jump in the ocean. There are a couple of cute swimming spots where you can lay on the rocks.

Even though i was staying for 5 nights or something i was only supplied one roll of toilet paper, so pick some up if you think you'll need more than this. There weren't any towels for me on arrival but I messaged and they were just in a drawer in the shared entrance room for the two apartments so just fyi i guess. The bathroom has a big step in it, I was a bit worried about tripping, something to be aware of if you've got mobility issues or are just a bit clumsy.
