Ortigia Dreaming

Ortigia Dreaming was perfect for four people and Rossana was wonderful, allowing us an early check-in and providing us with plenty of snacks, tea and coffee and a bottle of local wine, and regularly checking to see if there was anything else we needed. It was located close to the waterfront and only a short walk to the market, shops and restaurants. A bonus was the fabulous cafe that was only about twenty metres from the front door where we had great coffee and omelettes for breakfast, even though there was a well equipped kitchen that we were too lazy to use in Ortigia Dreaming.

The only negative issue is the stairs to the top floor which were very steep and could be a problem for anyone with limited mobility (or after too much wine) but we managed them without any incident by being very careful using them.

We loved this apartment in Ortigia, close to everything and it met all of our requirements. The host was amazing, great communication and ready to assist when necessary. Would definitely recommend.

Rosanna was an amazing host. She has a lovely little basket waiting for us. Was super communicative and shared lots of local knowledge and tips.

The apartment was lovely, clean, really well equipped and amazingly located. Rossana was incredibly kind and really responsive. She gave us recommendations for beaches and restaurants which is really helpful in Ortigia where there are so many places to choose from. She also organised parking which was so helpful.

Excellent location short walks from the beach, historical sites, plazas, and more! Wonderful base to explore Ortigia and the surroundings. Our hostess lovely- she communicated well, left us amazing treats, and helped with planning our stay. The apartment was nice and modern in a cool historic building. We had a fabulous experience!

Hostess was amazing!!! So generous in picking us up at train station, providing many welcome refreshments, and connecting us with the best tour guide: Salvatore! Just warm and wonderful!!! Best location and charming flat!

An absolutely dreamlike place. All the amenities for a wonderful stay, with so much beauty and taste in every detail—like a fairy tale. And Rosanna, she is a true angel who can make your stay in the unique Syracuse unforgettable.
