The proximity to the Coast Path and that all the facilities of West Bay were nearby. The apartment/room itself was just fine, overlooking the front and including everything I needed for a 1 night stay.

Nope. Everything was just fine, thanks. West Bay itself was pretty disappointing, but that's nothing to do with my accommodation.

Not all th windows were openable. Room was hot. We did use the fan provided. For our taste the room was dark

Fab views, lovely owners, comfortable beds, homely feel, the sound of the waves

Shower cubicle is small. Shower water temperature was not always stable. The beds were comfortable but duvet was too warm. We had to sleep with the windows open due to the high temperature, and were disturbed both nights by various noises from outside (van doors, loud voices, revving car engines).

Everything, I couldn't rate it highly enough. If you aren't great with stairs then this might not be the place for you, although you will be missing out because the views are amazing, the location to the beach is fantastic and the apartment has everything you need. It also has a great book collection which I found very hard to resist! The owners are extremely helpful and will answer any questions you have.
