Withnell Stays - Apartment Three

Absolutely nothing, it is not safe for children to stay in. Despite asking multiple times could the windows be made secure I was ignored. A staff member told me to pull the windows and that secured them and that no issues had ever been reported with the windows. If you read previous reviews it has been mentioned that the windows are not safe and that the apartment is not safe for children. My 4 year old could open the windows and climb out. The apartment is on the top floor and I was not prepared to risk the safety of my child. We did not stay at this apartment, we left after 40 minutes after trying to resolve issues. They refused to refund me for the accommodation or parking.

It smelt dirty, the bed smelt damp, stains on furniture and no tv in the bedroom which is pictured. They will allow you to book for 2 adults and 2 children and advertise a pull out sofa bed which isn’t the same as in the pictures. It only sleeps one on the sofa bed. If you have children this apartment isn’t safe.

What did I like about the property? It reminded me of home i.e.my garden shed.

From the moment I opened the door to the building, I was greeted with a hole in the roof providing stunning views to the sky. Shame it wasn’t a real skylight window, just a hole in the roof that wasn’t fixed. Upon entering the apartment, I was welcomed with a smell which can only be described as the same smell you would find in an underground subway station - damp. Further to this, we discovered the apartment was missing a TV in the bedroom (this was advertised and was the only reason I booked it) and to top it off, the wall heater nearly took 1 year old son out the game (this was held in with TOILET PAPER). When I brought these two issues to the attention of the host, they advised me the TV was smashed the night before by a guest. That is my problem, how? Then proceeded to tell me, there was no TV offered with the apartment? You literally just confirmed there was one last night??? Make your mind up lol??? I expressed my concerns about having no heater in the living room and it being unsafe for my son to be around. This was not “fixed” until the next day (when we were leaving as we decided to go to another hotel). The tradesperson basically said it was a temporary fix and a new bracket was needed so my understanding was this could happen again. These are just the two main issues but the bed was like lying on a bag of bones, the dishes were dirty, the bedding had stains on it, the living room blinds were completely wrecked meaning we had no privacy or shade AND there was not a single lamp in sight - have they never heard of ambience? Just to top it off, they are refusing to give me back any sort of refund or even a gesture of goodwill for my troubles. They really need to have a serious look at whoever runs their customer service because it’s extremely unprofessional and clearly don’t know their backside from their elbow. Safe to say, I will NOT be back and I highly suggest if you are suggesting booking this place, just don’t.

Spacious, good location and the host were really nice!

The coffee table really needs replacing as it is very wobbly. We could not use it. Anything else was good!

Property was clean had all the facilities you would need.

Furniture was cheap and we panicking about breaking it, especially as we had young kids with us.

Bardzo niewygodna kanapa w salonie. Nie nadaje się do spania dla dwóch osób. Zapchany odpływ w umywalce w łazience. Niezbyt czysta część kuchenna.
