Withnell Stays - Apartment Three

The apartment was homely. Walking distance too the sea front. Loved the electric fireplace. All equipment there to cook with.

Could do with a deep clean as the fans were so dusty. The sofa bed was small so had to go and buy and extra blow up bed and duvet. Shower pressure was poor and either became scorching or very cold.

Great location for the pleasure beach and south pier. Heating system worked quickly and soon heated up. Plenty of TV channels. Quick and easy check in/out. Good kitchen facilities.

The only place to sit in the living area was a small sofa bed that couldn't fit the 3 of us on and was really uncomfortable. My daughter couldn't sleep on it as it was rock hard. A draught came through the bedroom window and the shower pressure kept going off.

Location and cleanliness

Lack of proper sleeping space this was not acceptable for two adults 3 kids we are two seperate families first night had adult and child sleep on hard floor with a cover we thankfully had in car young child was on apparant sofa bed until she woke screaming with the metal prongs in her back and a massive scratch (now bruised) it was nowhere near acceptable for a small child let alone an adult so we had to go buy air beds and quilts etc (an expense that ate on our spending money)also only 3 of each cutlery which is useless when you have 5 people! And all names ages were given at booking?! It clearly states had space and it never and sadly the other guests were up till late with music and partying!

A lot of marks in the walls, sofa has rips in where it has been used as sofa bed and very hard in the middle and cut my little boys leg, shower wasn’t very clear on how to turn on and when I managed to get it on it was either scolding hot or freezing cold so after a day at the pleasure beach and getting soaked and wanting to get ready to go for food was unable to do so!

Close to the beach but not too close so the public noise affects us the apartment is cosy kids loved the big living room

3rd floor a lot of steps especially with for little children

An ok price considering that you have enough attractions just 5 minutes' walk away, you have things to cook in, pretty clean.

The sofa bed in the living room needs to be changed urgently. I don't understand how you can call it "expandable"? In the middle and even on the sides to find some iron things. In the kitchen, buy at least one more chair. There is only one, we had to eat on the floor. Be careful also at the dining room table if you have small children.
