Nice location, beautiful setting

Trying to get my deposit back is near impossible - still dealing with the fact that I don’t have it and now it’s two days later. Still not resolved.

Nice location and nice apartment

Had to wait for an hour and a half to get the keys on arrival and we couldn't get hold of the host. Security was trying to help us but the host did not inform them ahead of time either. They only told us the day before that a R1000 security deposit needs to be paid immediately before the guest checks in. I was busy in meetings but paid it as soon as I could and emailed through the guest's phone number, but they didn't check their emails so told me they didn't have his phone number when there was a delay. I also had to follow up for almost 3 weeks to get the R1000 security deposit back which was very frustrating. Will not use this property for a business trip again.

To anyone who books this place, please be aware that you get charged a damage deposit of R500 only after you have checked into the apartment . There is no mention of this when you book the place. We stayed ONE night and we had to pay R500 extra besides the booking fee for the place. They kept the whole R500 for two blue stains on a white towel that could have been bleached out. Please be careful. I do not recommend

The location, the apartment was comfortable and very clean. The host Gail was super and very helpful. Will defiantly rebook here again.

The location and easy access to motorway to city. Secure location and access to Canal Walk Shopping Centre.

The communication with the host was at best condescending and at worst rude. No soap provided in bathroom and no washing powder for washing machine. Being an oversees traveller, it was impossible to find a travel size washing powder or liquid. What is the point having a washing machine if the guest can’t use it? The check out message to me was the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. It was assumed that the guest is irresponsible and should be told to turn a toaster off amongst other things. This was done with a threatening tone stating that if such things don’t occur, money will be deducted. When I indicated that I might be a minute or so late for check out, I received a response indicating that late check out is charged even if it is 1 minute will be charged at a cost that needs to be prepaid.
