The location was good

We initially booked a 3 bed apartment. This was cancelled and changed to a 2 bed apartment shortly before we were due to stay there, as there was an issue with the original apartment. I was told that it was an upgrade as there was a river view, and that it would sleep the same number of people as there was a sofa bed. We were given an early check in, upon request but when arriving just an hour earlier than the original check in time, there were no keys in the lock box and we had to call to get access - the apartment wasn’t ready. When we got inside, we found it still not 100% clean (had to remove breakfast cereal on one of the dining chairs.) There was no sofa bed, but a pull down bed inside a cupboard, and we had to move the dining table and chairs in order to access it. The beds there are very small, and very short. One of us is 6ft2 and the length of the beds would have been more suitable for children. The “sofa bed” only had a single size duvet on it. We asked if we could use an extra parking space, for the original apartment which was not being used owing to the ‘issue’ but we weren’t allowed to use the empty space as we were told that it was in use (it wasn’t used at all throughout our stay). We also saw that the three bed apartment which we had booked was actually occupied by other guests!! When we were packing and leaving the apartment, one of the members of staff shouted over the balcony to us to check we were leaving and tried to hurry us up leaving, despite being before the scheduled check out time. Nice location but we didn’t need or want a river view, we wanted the apartment we booked.

Spotlessly clean apartment in a great location. Lovely view of hills from picture window in lounge.

Apartment smelt musty with an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. No cafetière in kitchen. Stains on carpet were off putting .

Location was excellent

Sadly had to put drinks , nibbles etc onto the carpet . An extra small occasional Table would have been good . 2 out of4 people could not place anything down unless on carpet . It was rather noisy,been good to have a basic double glazing to balcony windows the Rssteraunt and bar below the balcony made it noisy .

Central location and value for money

The smell from the bathroom drains was awful and if the door was not closed and the window was not open then it would spread though out the apartment. The uncomfortable/breaking dining room chairs. Not enough kitchen equipment or lounge sitting for no. Of people it accommodates.

Excellent location. Good value. Comfy bed.

Third floor, not obviously clear when booking. Lots of noise from restaurant opposite.
