"An interesting venue, but with flaws which make it feel overpriced"

It was a cute apartment in a lovely historic building, and very comfortable and warm It was well-equipped with high-end stuff such as the appliances and cookware It was right in the heart of the old town (but see caveat below) When we had a problem out of office hours we got a response (reasonably) quickly

Being next door to both a pub and a public square popular with guided tours (esp. night time ghost tours) it was often noisy outside till very late (past midnight on Saturday!) A lack of detailed instructions on the heating set-up was disappointing Basic housekeeping could have been better - for example, many lightbulbs did not work and our bottom sheet was not even the right size for the mattress

"What an amazing place!"

The building was unique, full off history and the interior of the apartment itself was amazing. The location was ideal to explore Edinburgh. Everything is max about 15 minutes walk away!

Can't think of anything other than the price of it during the Fringe Festival!

"Excellent facilities, excellent location, great base to explore Edinburgh."

Very cosy, cheaper than a budget hotel and far more luxurious. Right in the middle of the centre but the noise from anywhere local suddenly stops around midnight so it didn’t keep me awake

Only 2 tea bags and that’s me nit picking because there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. The apartment is on the 4th floor of quite steep spiral stairs so if you struggle with stairs you might be better off asking for the lower floors.

Great location for tourists. Comfortable apartment.

The 4 story spiral stairwell that takes you to the apartment is a killer for older folks or people with physical limitations.

"Cozy stay in an historic apartment in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town"

John the owner provided us with excellent location details which made the apartment easy to find. We loved the charm and decor of this historic apartment. We also appreciated the comfortable bed and lovely shower amenities and kitchen area located in the heart of Edinburgh's historic old town.

No tea bags were provided and we had also previously requested oat, soy milk. The bed was a double and I assumed it was a Queen, and while very comfortable, it was a bit of a squeeze for my daughter and I. The spiral staircase was hard work with our suitcases but we knew that would be an issue in such an historic building.
