The apartment was very spacious, clean and easy to access. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and everyone slept well. The location is extremely quiet as were all the rooms. There are many restaurants, a Co-op, the Tram and buses all within walking distance. We did not have a car but the parking spot for the apartment is easily visible from the sliding glass door in the main room. Shampoo/Conditioner and Body Wash was supplied. All the closets contained shelves and hangers. Having two bathrooms, a hair dryer, a drying rack and the washer/dryer was wonderful. The walk-in shower and elevator were perfect for our person with mobility issues. There was sufficient, glassware, tableware, utensils, and cookware for our needs as well as ice cube trays. The Wi-Fi worked great and there were plenty of outlets throughout the apartment. There was a bookshelf loaded with books in the main room.

I found it somewhat stressful trying to reach our contact person to arrange to get the key as we had trouble using our phones in a foreign country but eventually succeeded. We would have liked more towels as there was one large towel per person, a bath mat and only one hand towel in each bathroom, and only a single dish towel. There was a large white bag on the top shelf in the hall closet but we did not look to see what it contained. Having heated towel racks in both bathrooms was nice but not sure how they worked as they only heated sometimes. Although there was plenty of seating, the sofa was not especially comfortable for shorter people. We would have liked to have an additional set of keys as our group did not want to stay together all the time. We found no vent in the main bathroom so by the end of our 13 day stay the walls appeared to be showing signs of mildew. Although this is an excellent location with wonderful access inside and out, the apartment is located downhill from the Tram stop so, as with a lot of Edinburgh, our person with mobility issues found it somewhat more challenging than the others, but certainly doable.

Sofa not comfortable. Skirting boards dusty. Sink in bathroom cracked and nail Polish spilt in it. Frying pans dirty and damaged. Net curtain in lounge had a hole in.

The location is excellent. A huge selection of restaurants and cafes nearby. A beautiful part of town. Definitely an uphill walk to the centre of the city, but it is well served by public transport, and a day pass is only £5 for the trams and busses.

Not much to improve on. I think the heating element in the washing machine is broken, but we didn't need it for our short stay. The fact there is a washing machine in the first place is already great.
