Sumptuous 2BR Apt Next To Edinburgh Castle!

We loved the apartment. Location was superb, lots of storage, 2 full bathrooms was a bonus. We only stayed 2 nights, but wish it could have been longer to make full use of the lovely lounge area and facilities.

It was probably my stupidity, but I couldn't work out the induction stove. Instructions were probably included in the (very long instruction) video, but I would have preferred a booklet with instructions for the appliances. Washing machine/dryer was super loud (way too noisy to use at night).

The apartment was very clean. Everything we needed was there.

The stairs

This place is just steps away from everything you need . Royal Mile and Waverley Station

The flat has two bedrooms, each with ensuite…. perfect for two couples. Location is excellent with easy access to Princes street and the old town. If walking with luggage from Waverley station, it is a bit of a hike uphill. The Flat is on 2nd floor with no lift. The front room is large and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very convenient location in the old town, walking distance to the Castle, Royal Mile, Calton Hill, new town, train station, etc. The apartment is bright, clean, with great views, spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The video with instructions provided by the host made accessing the apartment very clear and easy, also shows how everything works in the apartment. The host was very responsive when we had questions.

The only minor thing it lacks is having a lift. It’s understandable because it’s in old town and most buildings can’t accommodate it. The 2 flights of stairs were not bad at all since we travel light with a carry on and a backpack.
