Sumptuous 2BR Apt Next To Edinburgh Castle!

Very clean and cosy apartment in an excellent location close to the royal mile and train station

Probably the only thing was the stairs but wasn’t really a big deal

Convenient position. Good sized rooms. Bathrooms en suite.

5 lights not working. 2 TVs not working.

Clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped. Sky & Netflix on the Tele was a lovely bonus

Not clean. Thick dust behind headboard not been cleaned in years. Floor creeks with every step so would wake partner if using bathroom at night.

Location could not have been better. Fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Iron, hairdryer etc available. Even some teabags and everything needed to wash up. Spectacular views and the host was excellent, easily to contact re checking in and out. We spent a couple of rainy afternoons indoors and it was such a pleasant place to be. Bright and airy too.

Only two small gripes, neither of which really affected us during our stay. The floors creaked slightly. It was quite noticeable, did not bother us but might be an issue for anyone with sensory issues. Also the mattress in the bed in the main room kind of sank a little in the middle. As it was not a very large bed (standard double) it might cause issues for two tall or large adults sharing.

Great apartment for our family of 4. Very nice spacious layout and excellent location. Views were beautiful. Instructions prior to arrival were extremely thorough. Questions we had about the dryer were answered promptly.

Property was not ready for me at the time of check - in, keys were not in lockbox, had to scramble to get in after a long journey to get in town and finally met a cleaning person at the room to get keys. Floors were recently mopped and still wet but otherwise all good
