Modern & bright 1 bed for 4 close to city centre!

The bed was really comfortable and it was near the shopping centre, but not too close.

The water pressure in the shower was quite low

Had all we needed for a comfortable stay for our 5 days in Edinburgh. 10 to 15 minute walk to the royal mile. 20-minute walk to the major bus station. Very close to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.

It was up three flights of stairs which was fine for us, but if you're carrying a heavy suitcase you may struggle as there is no lift.

Excellent location, great kitchen, good bathroom

It is a bit run-down property - with a little effort this could be magnificent The staircase is a mess with uneven stairs, the appartment itself was quite dirty, the couch was heavily stained We ended up cleaning, vacuuming and mopping the appartment at the beginning of our stay.

I don't even know where to start. First, I'll probably start with the hallway. I understand that it might not be part of the apartment itself, but it creates an impression as soon as you enter. Stains on the walls that look like blood, trash, and dirty stairs are off-putting right away. Next are the keys—there are so many of them, and you really have to strain your brain to figure them out. But that's nothing. What really drove me crazy was the bathroom sink. We washed our hands, the water filled to the top and didn't even think about draining. And because it wasn't draining, someone's hair came up from the pipe—most likely some man was shaving his beard, the hair didn't go down the drain, and the sink was full of water with someone else's hair floating in it. And do you know when the water finally drained? The next morning. When we came into the bathroom in the morning, we saw that the water was gone, but there was just dried men's hair stuck to the sink. So for all those days, we couldn't use it and had to brush our teeth leaning over the bathtub. The next thing that really upset us was that the toilet only flushed once every 3 hours. The water pressure was so low that it refilled horribly slowly, and it was impossible for two people to use the bathroom one after another after a long walk. We were forced to use the toilet in some cafe because we knew that only one person could do it in the apartment. I won't say I felt terrible in the apartment. It's just that these two factors significantly worsened our stay. It would also be good to have disposable guest slippers because the floor is very cold. And one more unpleasant thing: it has been two weeks since our trip, and they still haven't returned our deposit of more than £200 to us. As for the pluses—the location is super.

Die Lage war perfekt, es war sauber und praktikabel, für 3 Nächte OK und viele Restaurants und Bistros im Umfeld ( hauptsächlich asiatische Küche, perfekt für uns) auch sonst kleine Supermärkte und mehr. Sehr kurzer Weg zur South Bridge

Die Polstermöbel hatten undefinierbare Flecken und die Fenster ließen sich schwer öffnen, auch wenn es sonst sauber war, irgendwas roch komisch. Der Hausflur ist extrem schmutzig.

Good location.

The staff were impossible to contact. We were missing some linens that they forgot to provide and it took them over a day to provide them for us. They didn’t respond to many attempts at contacting them and we had to spend the first night in extremely uncomfortable conditions. The sofa bed and pillows were not clean at all. We had to pay a deposit before our stay and the refund was not provided automatically within the timeframe that they had promised, I had to contact them personally and request for the refund to be paid back.

Great location for the purpose of our visit and cheaper than a Premier Inn.

The bedding was pretty stained and unsavoury under the sheets and pillow cases which felt a bit icky after we noticed (and the extra bedding in the cupboard was also in a similar condition). There was not any info about the hot water etc. The shared hallway was also pretty dire and needs someone to give it a bit of a clean! The photo of the key box had two boxes on it.... 50/50 chance! Fumbling in the dark setting the code wasn't great and you need loads of keys to get in.
