Heritage City - The Auld Pottery

Location was very good. Also the place had a lot of character.

There is no allocated parking so you have to pay for somewhere nearby. A pint of milk in the fridge would have been nice, I couldn't get the toaster to work either.

Unusual place, good location. The landlady came almost immediately to solve our problem with the shower.

The place would need overall renovation. More window glass isolation to protect from the noise, a new carpet. Some parts haven't been cleaned for a long time. The equipment is not very practical. The place was cold even in the summer.

Quite bright in the early mornings as the blinds in the bedroom let a lot of light in.

Asunto on tosi persoonallinen ja vain reilun parinkymmen minuutin kävelyn päässä High St:ltä. Lentoasemalta helppo saavutettavuus Tram'illä läheiselle Haymarketin asemalle, mistä on myös vain pari pysäkkiä Princes St:lle New Townin puolelle. Pari kauppaa sijaitsee noin viiden minuutin päässä, mistä saa aamiaistarpeet ja muut välipalat. Lähistöllä on useita ravintoloita, esimerkiksi Dalry Roadin La Casa oli erinomainen kokemus. Ihmisten puolesta rauhallinen seutu.

Univaikeuksista kärsivä tai muuten herkkäuninen saattaa kärsiä viereisen West Approach Roadin liikenteen äänistä.

The internet connection provided was good and secure.

The shower didn’t drain, the floor was slimy. The carpets and couch were filthy. The walls, rails, and shelving were all dusty. Shower supplies were all leftovers from previous tenants, small, mostly empty travel sizes. Small, dingy towels were provided, but not plentiful. I called the owner to ask for the key box code, she was less than pleasant and I didn’t get the sense she was interested in helping me. I’ve stayed in nicer hostels than this place.

Great spot, bed was super comfy!!! I didn’t take any notice of the noise outside.

Location was excellent. Utensils provided were adequate. Bed was very comfortable.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable and badly marked, ideally it needs to be replaced. Property generally looks a bit tired, could do with some attention to appearance. Parking is a good 10 minutes walk away if you use the Just Park site recommended, not easy to carry everything from the car across busy roads when unpacking and it is very expensive to park outside the property for any period of time.
