Heritage City - The Auld Pottery

Mel, the manager, was extremely responsive and helpful. There was an issue with the router, and she responded via Bookings chat and had it fixed quickly. Overall, the internet speed was great, and the accommodations (both the main room bed and the couch bed) were comfortable. Fantastic, central location (easy to store and sightseeing).

The bedroom Venetian blinds are in a bit of disrepair, so they are not able to get the bedroom dark.

Location was great, and the host was very nice. The price is very good, don’t think there’s a lot of options this good for the price value. Bed was also very good and confy. The place is cute and cozy

Very small shower and bathroom. Stairs move a little bit and it’s scary, but they are safe. There is noise from the road below, but earplugs will fix that for you. There’s too much light in the bedroom. When we stayed there sunrise was at around 5:00 and sunset at around 22:00, so I’d recommend to bring a mask for your eyes

It was lovely and perfect for us. Perfect location to walk to the start of Edinburgh Marathon

Good location

Poor hygiene and dirty (inside fridge, microwave, coffee machine filled with old stagnant water, walls, sofa, chair cushion dirty/ stained). Shower blocked- was always in an inch of water despite turning it off/ on during the shower. Very steep spiral Staircase is flimsy - the bannister spindles are all loose! None of the Venetian blinds work (so lots of light in the bedroom) and also a lot of road noise. The apartment was not fit for purpose, a health hazard. Unfortunately the owner refused to give us a refund. Nevertheless, we moved out after one night as finding a cockroach in the sink was the last straw.

Excellent location, we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage has all one needs and it's extremely charming.

The location is fantastic and the property is wonderfully cosy.

It was amazing and my only critique would be that traffic noise from the main road is extremely loud in the bedroom. It's just unfortunate but can't be helped & doesn't really ruin anything.

Close to the centre, beautiful local restaurants, shops nearby, beautiful views! Our host was so sweet and more than happy to answer questions, provided plenty of tea and coffee for our adventures and it was overall an amazing experience!

Very good location and very easy to access. Communication with the host was good and we were able to access the property early in order to drop off our bags before check-in. A very cosy and charming apartment.

A bit disappointed that some cooking utensils had been stored away still dirty.
