Royal Mile Budget Apartments

It was in a great location, in a minute you're at the center of Edinburgh. The building was also historical, I learned about lady steps thanks to the building. Stairs were also amazing. In the flat, everything was thought, kitchen utilities, hair dryer, cups, glasses, shampoo;) Everything was thought very well.

I am a light sleeper, so the sound of water dripping kept me awake a little bit. But it was sth small, WiFi didn't work a bit but then it worked.

La ubicacion es muy buena. La relación calidad-precio es excelente. Aunque no te recibe nadie personalmente, están pendiente que no te falte nada. Y nos entregaron el piso antes de la hora de checkin :)

Falta limpieza. Y el sistema de agua de la ducha.

It was a nice apartment, dated but then it was in a very old building.

Myself and my friends didn’t like the stairs. When booking I asked for a ground floor apartment as we are all over 60 and got a reply later saying that there was only an apartment on the third level. This should have been something that was stated upfront before I booked and paid for the apartment.

Es gab fließendes Wasser. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Das sind auch schon die einzigen positiven Punkte für diese Wohnung!

Null Service! Wenn man z.B.vor Ort Probleme mit dem Zugang hat! Für was soll die angegeben Tel.Nr.sein, wenn sie eh nutzlos ist?Völlig abgenutzte , ungepflegte, lieblos eingerichtete Wohnung. Appartment 9 in diesem Gebäude sollte, in diesem momentanen Zustand, definitiv nicht vermietet werden. Das ,,Schlafsofa" ist ein unzumutbares Etwas! Die ,,Küche" hat ein bisschen altes Geschirr, nichts, was man benutzen möchte. Die Wäde sind fleckig, ebenso der Boden.Risse an den Fensterscheiben. Der steile, enge Treppenaufgang , wusste man vorher, kann aber für einige zur Herrausforderung werden, wenn man sein Gepäck dort hochtragen muss! Schade, dass man nicht mehr Fotos hochladen kann!

I am impressed that it is very clean. The location is superb and in a short distance to many places of interest at the city center.

Nothing, really. About the spiral stairs, it was actually not worse than I thought. My mom (68 years old) and my kids (2 and 4 years old) could climb without much hassle. But it did not have any reception space/ foyer at the ground level so be prepare.

Amazing location - literally out of the door right into the middle of the pedestrianised part of Royal Mile. Couldn't have been better.
