Location

Entered the apartment to a sour smell, filthy tattered carpet and stained walls. The furniture was uncomfortable and bed broken. The fridge had only one shelf the rest including the door shelves were missing. Wiring was suspect and the insulating cover on the power shower was perforated (safety risk). The shower could not be run on full power. For the full duration of our stay there was broken articles in the foyer and a bag of rubbish outside the apartment door. The foyer and stairs are only cleaned once a month and does not include debris removal. Took the matter of the fridge with the agent Carlton, said it would be attended to nothing happened. The internet at 5 mbs down and 3 up was close to unusable

Right in the centre of the city. Super helpful staff but contact was via email only. Kitchen well stocked, excellent washing machine.

Stairs (no lift) to apartment felt a bit unsafe. All furnishings a bit dated, carpet stained, couch uncomfortable.

Brilliant accommodation, very clean, perfect space, lots of steps up so pack light, and you're in a tourist hot-spot, so expect noise.

The location of this apartment is fantastic and with a little general maintenance the apartment could be as well. The cleaner obviously does her best but is fighting a losing battle with things that could be sorted so easily. The carpet throughout needs replacing it is beyond cleaning. It didn't spoil our holiday and we very much enjoyed our stay. I could list the many things that need addressing but a good owner will already know.

General maintenance issues that could be fixed very easily and would afford an excellent stay.

The furniture could use an update

You get what you pay for in terms of location and cuteness. It's a gem of an apartment. Exactly what we needed for our 2 person getaway. The sound of bagpipes filled our apartment on the weekends and the window makes for perfect people watching. Highly recommend

The only slight down side is that it's a walk up. It's a few floors. And it's also somewhat narrow to walk up.
