JOIVY Lovely Flat in the Heart of Edinburgh

Very expensive for what it was. Asked for late checkout which was confirmed by property but was chased out by the cleaner ( was the weekend the clocks go forward too) One of the most complicated bookings I have ever had to do on booking.com Clean, Great location well appointed just a pity it was so difficult to check in get the code to get in and cleaners !

Great location. Bed linen was white and clean. As was the towels. If you wished to cook, a good supply of utensils. Apartment clean apart from skirting boards. Cosy and warm.

Needs a deep clean on skirting boards. . No shower door. The living room window rattled and was annoying during the night. My sleep was broken. The catch on the back bedroom did not close on the wooden shutter, and as the bedroom was close to the steps, it left us nervous ( significant foot fall on the steps). The front door entrance to the building didn't lock properly, and the door opened without the key again it left us nervous.

A great little apartment with a marvellous view.

The stairway outside the apartment can be very noisy through the night. The second bedroom has a light directly outside the window and the shutters don’t block the light as some timber trim is missing. The bathroom needs attention. Needs a washing machine

Advertised to have washer/dryer but had neither. Right next to castle so noisy with concerts. Otherwise everything fantastic!

There was no washer as advertised. No dish rack. But was comfortable otherwise.

The location was great due to the views and being near the mile. The beds were comfy and the shower was powerful

The tv reception was bad! We only had 4 channels, 2 of those been kids and the other 2 cut out. Only provided with one tea towel, so made cleaning up difficult.
