Central Hidden Gem - Fremantle Apartment

Central location

The kitchen ware (cooking) needs seriously replacing. And could have been cleaner .

Location very close to Fremantle centre - easy access to shops, restaurants and visitor centre. Apartment had great facilities.

Landing areas outside apartment a bit smelly presumably because sewage system in area being changed (notice in lift). Hard to get parking outside on initial arrival to drop luggage but good access to parking at back once we got access to apartment.

Big beds for small room. Too many cushions on the couch. No mirror in master bed.

The location was central. The apartment had a washer, and we thought it would suit our family's needs to do some laundry while touring the city.

The check-in was a flop, we were given keys to another accommodation before we finally managed to get the right keys. There was a strong smell of newly painted walls/ something similar to pesticide spray, in one of the bedrooms. It was so horrendous that we decided to book a hotel accommodation immediately for the rest of the days we were supposed to stay in this apartment. We requested for a refund, yet our feedback was met with complete disregard. The toilet was indeed cramped and did not have a heater, and so it was cold for the children; the towels had a damp smell. Eventually, we were glad we made the change to a hotel after this experience. It was at 2/3 of the price we paid in comparison to this accomodation, with free breakfasts and daily housekeeping done.

Good position and close to some great eateries

Creative photography made place look much larger than it was for 2 couples. Drama with getting in. Fob not left in lock box. Had to ring company and wait while company rep came to sort it and find fob and keys. Elevator stopped on arrival to just add to our stress. Company insisted on private information being sent to confirm who we were..... never been asked before and very uncomfortable with procedure. It was if you DONT give it, you DONT get in !!! We were all tired after a long days travel so we did it. Shower tap broken and came off in our hands.

Superb location. The room deco is full of sense of art and ingenuity. The kitchen facility is wonderful.

Bedroom is too hot (probaly due to the abnormal heat wave during my travel). Would be better if there's electronic fans prepared.
