Harpenden House

So conveniently placed in the town itself, yet quiet and away from the main traffic.

The stair carpet was filthy and either needs a deep cleaning or to be replaced. It was extremely off-putting especially on initial viewing of the premises.

Location

It had little light, very dark. Was not super clean, a little grubby, carpet, curtains, bathroom a lot needs replacing for people to spend that money per week, shower was lukewarm, furniture was very old, a lot of decor that cramped the place and not needed.

We had booked what we thought was a luxury apartment, it was not. Having had one look at the state of the apartment we turned and left never to return.

Location was excellent

You can’t book the accommodation for less than a week

Very poorly signposted Taxi driver had trouble finding it The driveway was all gravel So you could not wheel your suitcase, without ruining the wheels Because of The gravel on the driveway , you could not wear your high heeled shoes, without ruining the heels
