Great communication. Room very quaint, exceptionally clean, quiet, well appointed, peaceful. Absolutely enjoyable stay.

The location is exceptional and the view from our room was lovely. The room itself was clean and comfortable and we appreciated all the thoughtful additions like snacks, slippers and extra toiletries The host was welcoming and responsive.

This hotel was unique, peaceful, with a beautiful view of a working fishing harbor. It's off the beaten path, so to speak, but not far from other gorgeous spots in coastal Maine. I'm looking forward to coming bac for more than a one-night stay. This is a perfect location for a retreat - writing, drawing, simply recharging. Awesome.

There was nothing about this hotel that I did not like - it was perfect.

Great location in a quiet town. The check in process was seamless. Inn keeper very responsive and thoughtful about details provided. Comfortable bed. Loved watching sunrise from our room and the property.

Mostly I liked it quite a bit. The only thing I would suggest is fewer pieces of furniture, particularly the dresser next my bed because it made sitting at the table cramped. And sitting at the table is the best view!!

The view from our room was wonderful. The room was very clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and there were a few unexpected amenities, such as snacks, thoughtful bathroom touches, a sketchpad and history of the property, which was very interesting.

It would have been better to be informed that we would need to climb two flights of stairs with no assistance available.

The Inn was located on the Harbor in a very small town .If you like older interesting Inns with great view of Harbor this could be for you . The room/rooms were large, clean and very well equipped with fridge , microwave and stovetop for your convenience . A small table by window was just right as a spot to enjoy morning coffee . We used it for lunch as well . Be aware that there is a fairly steep staircase to climb to get to your room so I advise you to minimize your luggage . We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting our host, but he was kind enough to give us his personal phone number and kept in touch with us . He was very interested in our comfort and offered his assistance if needed. Be aware that this is not a touristy place with restaurants etc. Best to bring your own food. Because we were there for one night only , it wasn’t too negative . However we were there on a Monday and after traveling the twenty minutes to the recommended restaurant we found it to be closed . That was our only disappointment . We ended up at McDonalds . If you are looking for a different experience from with the taste of rural Maine, in a quaint fishing town then I recommend this Inn for you .

The location was a bit too far from restaurants etc

We booked this property last minute because we changed our travel itinerary. The host went above and beyond to communciate, respond and give recommendations for the area. The property is in a tiny lobster/fishing village and somewhat remote. We had the suite on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the harbor and the fishing boats. It was obvious the owner had given careful thought to every detail to make his guests comfortable. The place is off the beaten path and unique. We loved it.

This property and location might not be for everyone. If you like a typical, cookie cutter accommodation, this might not be your thing. If you like off the beaten path travel, natural beauty, and local, authentic experiences when you travel then this little gem will please you.
