Communication was great! We were welcomed by the dentist and his staff and we had a great one-night stay. The apartment was very clean and the thoughtful snacks and bathroom amenities were greatly appreciated. The view was awesome.

The only downside is that you must carry your bags upstairs to reach the apartment. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but I just wanted to note that.

Misunderstood 📖 ng.com description. They said three room suite. Was large one room with three beds, sleepy nfl five.

Our host, Dr Wayne, called us before we arrived and told us everything we needed to know to access the Hotel, plus gave us numerous tips + historical info…super friendly + welcoming! We were delighted with the beautiful old building + it’s non touristy location, located right on the water with amazing view of the bay and working lobster fishing activity. There was a long dock right down to the fishing boats and a rocky water’s edge to explore. We appreciate “off the beaten path” unique and historic places and this vintage Inn was exactly that. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood with its old homes, country church, boats and lobster traps everywhere. A lobster processing business down the street said it had been in business for 5 generations. Jonesport is a humble working town and we appreciated it’s authenticity + realism, no tourist shops or cafes here and we liked that. Our third floor room was enormous with multiple beds we didn’t need, but made for a spacious and homey vibe. There was a table + chairs by the big bay window (fantastic view) and also two stuffed easy chars for relaxing. The host provided everything you could possibly think of for convenience including cellophane wrapped slippers, toiletries, hair dryer, phone chargers, hangers, fridge, microwave, hot plate, crock pot, coffee maker, drawer full of cutlery and kitchen things, paper plates + towels etc. PLUS we were gifted a huge basket of snacks and apples…so generous and thoughtful! The room was decorated in antiques, hand painted walls and furniture and vintage artwork, mirrors and other charming decor. There was a wealth of helpful literature in the hallway. I took one of the Maine maps which was a god send as we drove around the coast exploring and really used it. I hope it was ok that we kept it, Thankyou ! We just loved the entire experience for our first time in Maine. It was like staying at your grandma’s spotless and charming home. We can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Harbor House!

I hesitate to say anything at all here but in a spirit of being helpful, the only improvement I could possibly even think of was that the outside backyard pathway to the water could use a tidy up. You have probably already done it, as the whole place was so clean and perfect. In fact we loved the backyard and being able to walk to the water to see the rocks, seaweed, seagulls and dozens of lobster boats. In addition to the view out to sea the many wild pink roses with their lovely red rose hips were also just beautiful!
