The Mews, York Place by Harrogate Serviced Apartments

There were 2 boxes for keys so had to put pin in twice to get key. All was well and gained entry to our apartment. On second day couldn’t get back into apartment so host came and gave us another set of keys. All was well. Harrogate is lovely and the flats at The Mews are lovely and are in a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

After staying 2 nights a very nice lady appeared at our door saying she should be staying there. There had been a mix up with the apartment number. Apparently we should have been in no 2. After discussions with the host who could not provide clean linen for us to change, the lady and ourselves came to an amicable decision to change flats and just exchange bed linen and towels ourselves. The host did not offer any help at this stage. We exchanged flats and all was well.

There were only three chair . I had my daughter and two children for a meal a there were no chairs for the children

Quiet location close to town centre. Free parking!

All pervading smell of curry which lasted for all three days of our stay. Bathroom not well cleaned. Lovely comfy large bed but the room was only a little bit bigger - difficult to walk around it to get to the loo in the night. Parking space was a nightmare to get in and out of - recommend a small car and leave it once you’ve parked!

Location was excellent, lots of pubs and restaurants within a short walk. Very quite location on a night. Very Comfortable apartment.

Would have preferred an open plan kitchen like some of the photos show but everything else was superb.

no toilet brush, lack of recycling, bedroom door dragged on carpet, heating kept resetting itself to 9 degrees overnight meaning you woke up chilly
