Centrally located to base yourself on the island, everything you need. Simple and central base located to lots of attractions on the island. Brett the owner / manager is very accomodating.

Well located on the island, close enough to restaurants and supermarket. It was a lovely and quiet spot. Brett was an attentive and considerate host, bringing over wood logs for the fireplace and extra bedding when the weather turned cold. The place was cosy and we were extremely comfortable during our stay. Communication with Brett was easy.

Comfortable and clean. Fabulous TV cinema system. Brett very friendly and responsive to requests. Very quiet and in the countryside

Kitchen equipment needs updating. Be aware that while the bedroom and kitchen/second bedroom can be heated, the main lounge area is effectively unsealed and although there is a wood burner, it might not be comfortable on cooler days

The accommodation has everything you need and the lounge area where you can watch movies on a big screen or have a drink at the bar was really great. Brett the owner is really nice and helpful. It was super relaxing to open up the sliding screen and enjoy the view after a long day exploring Kangaroo Island. I would definitely stay here again if in KI.

The cabin is extremely cosy and has every comfort you could need. The highlight is the screen wall: when lifted, it reveals a stunning view of the countryside that completely frames the house — and when lowered, it turns into a giant cinema screen. We enjoyed it immensely. Brett is an excellent host. He contacted us well before the trip and provided all the information about the property and how to get there. When we arrived, he was there to welcome us and walked us through all the amenities, including how to use the cinema and sound system. The location is perfect — you feel completely immersed in nature and wonderfully secluded, yet you are only a few minutes from Kingscote. In short, we highly recommend the place.

Quirky, unique place, quiet but not far from Kingscote. Wonderful personal touches such as the huge screen that opens up and also turns into a movie screen at night…..log fire in the evenings and Brett was on hand and super helpful

Nel had so much more than we expected. Kids loved the space to run around close to tourism activities during the day and very relaxing at night with bonfire and home theatre projector for the evenings. Brett's was knowelagble about the island and places recommended many places to visit

A few mozzie around take your insect repellent

The fact it was in a serene location with only garland around so wonderfully quiet with no loud disturbances. Enjoyed having the wall open up to enjoy natures view then close up to a full size movie screen. Thus envied lots of choices between what you wanted to watch and relax with wine and cheese whether opened or closed. There were heaters in the bedroom and kitchen area as well as a log fire in the movie room. Brett was always willing to help out with anything from sorting out getting the projector working to setting a fire. But he was not intrusive at all. You could cook as much or as little as you want. The bed was comfy and cosy.
