Brett's Rest Nel

An interesting place to stay. A bit out of town. Difficult to find at night although directions given. Sufficent amenities for our stay. Better mosquito proofing for middle room needed. Bed comfortable and good shower. Internet good. Pet friendly which was our main reason for booking

Large Front door not insect proof. Deck that door opens onto too narrow. Personal preference for table and chairs not stools and bar to eat at.

Brett is a very friendly host who met us upon arrival and showed us the property. The house is a little quirky (in a good way!) and super cosy. Amazing views and some wildlife around, and a great setup for movie nights, too!

Great setup. A feeling of being in the bush but minutes from town and multiple tourist highlights.

Comfortable and spacious cabin, comfortable and met expectations. The projector and sound system were great. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was close to Kingscote with cafes and supermarket. Brett was very helpful and showed us the various facilities when we checked in. He also gave us great tips on exploring the island and even showed us a koala and baby on the property.

The middle part of the cabin tended to let in mosquitos so remember to bring insect repellent and use the fly screens.

The sound system is amazing . We enjoyed it. And Brett is very welcoming and friendly, my dog had a good time playing with Chase.

If the living room can have fly screen, will be great. You do get mosquitoes at night.

Brett was a great host, not much to add, everybody will enjoy his place.

Peaceful and convenient location, great AV setup, and Brett was very helpful.
