The Old Jail Apartment, Inveraray

Centre of Inveraray, easy parking, perfect for a couple and a great base. Shower was the best ever. Quirky interesting building.

Lack of view and a bit dark but it’s an old jail so what do you expect.

The history, the location and a facilities

The location is superb, right in the centre of Inveraray, easy parking too. Entry was exactly as described and with no issues. Kitchen was spotless and well equipped. As was the bathroom with its massive shower !!. A quick walk round Inveraray and you'll be met with stunning views in any direction. Shops are right on the doorstep, as are places to east and drink. The George Hotel beer garden is a great place to watch the world go by, Brambles cafe does the most amazing and tasty breakfasts. We also had a delicious meal at the Inveraray Inn

Room was a bit cold at night but to be expected really as it was -1°C outside. Other than that though no complaints
