The Old Jail Apartment, Inveraray

Beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The apartment has a lot of character. Well situated for town and the castle but very quiet at night. Easy to park nearby.

Tumble dryer not working. As we had been travelling quite a while before this rental, we had a few loads of laundry to do. The owner was very helpful and did offer to take the wet laundry and dry it for us. She also provided a drying rack.

It was very comfortable and clean and central. Very cosy apartment

very musty and damp smell and evidence of damp on back walls. It is an old stone building so not unusual but does need attention as quite unpleasant Mattress on the bed wasn't comfortable for us Soft furnishings in lounge have absorbed the damp smell and could do with a refresh

Location was perfect. The apartment was utterly gorgeous and wonderful to stay in. Kirstin was a fantastic host and was super helpful with everything. I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here on my next trip to Inverary.

It could do with a larger bed. It has a King size bed: we always forget that that is actually smaller as a queen size bed... .

Lovely apartment with everything you could need. Right in the centre of town and great restaurants. Really helpful host.

Great place to stay, very quirky, hosts have thought of eveything you needed. Comfy bed and great big shower. Well appoionted kitchen.Myself and my husband spent 3 nights here,location was perfect for exploring the area.Ate in the George pub next door.Food was lovely and the bar is very cosy.Also ate in samphire,amaxing food. We will be back, its a very special place indeed.
