AM's Apartment

Wonderful hosts who clearly take a great deal of pride in their apartment which was fully justified. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable with all the qualities we were expecting and lovely touches from Marco and Miriam. The location was perfect with easy access to the station and port, restaurants and shopping being in the centre of town. Probably the best property we've rented.

Perfect location and lovely hosts.

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Marco and Miriam were so welcoming. They met us at the apartment and were kind enough to leave water, milk, juice, beer and wine for us to enjoy during our stay. Communication before our arrival was excellent including directions. When we arrived, Marco and Miriam showed us through the apartment, gave us useful information about where to dine, supermarkets, marina etc and had lots of information in the apartment for sight seeing options. Also emergency contact details. The apartment is located in the pedestrian only area so was nice to sit out on the balcony with a drink and watch the activity in the street. Was also very quiet at night so great for getting a good night’s sleep. The apartment is close to train so easy to get to Cinque Terre villages. We had a wonderful 4 days at AM’s apartment, thank you Marco and Miriam, you are excellent hosts.

The flat is perfectly located in the center, it is very spacious, has everything one may need, very clean and in perfect condition. The owners are also perfect

The location was a 10. The hosts were a 10, helping us on arrival and departure. The power plugs were very handy and the iron-washing facilities very good.

The air con is in the lounge (serving the 2nd bedroom also) and the master bedroom. The air con in the lounge was making groaning noises every 60sec which during the day was not an issue, but we had to turn it off overnight as I could not sleep. The matter was reported to the Landlord and I am sure they will attend to it.

The very friendly owner gave us a nice reception, and also came to see us off when we left. The apartment has a nice modern interior, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed. (We only used the master bedroom, but there is an extra single bedroom). WiFi and airco both worked perfectly. The apartment is on the first floor in an authentic building in the middle of the lively main street that runs all the way from the railway station to the harbor (no traffic, only pedestrians and cyclists). It has a nice small balcony, so you can observe street life all day from above, which I particularly liked. Of course this gives quite some noise, but with windows closed all noise can be shut out completely.

There is no coffee machine, only a percolator which we foreigners are not used to. (But hey, who wants to make coffee at home anyway, when there are great coffee bars all over the place?) And the seats could perhaps have been a bit more comfortable: there were only wooden chairs without pillows, and a couch that did not give much support. One or two armchairs could make this place even more perfect than it is already.

Location right in the centre of the pedestrian area of La Spezia, 5 minutes walk to the train station and 10 minutes walk to the port. The hosts were very helpful with great communication and met us at the apartment. Spacious, comfortable, clean apartment with lots of home comforts. A nice little balcony to overlook the street. The hosts supplied coffee, water and some beverages which were greatly appreciated. Lots of local information in the apartment.

Shower curtain was the only thing. Otherwise perfect.

Very spacious, beautiful and clean apartment. It had everything we needed. The location is perfect near the train station and the city center. Marco was extremely punctual and fair.

There was nothing to dislike at all

I booked for friends travelling and they could not say enough nice things about AM's apartment. It exceeded their expectations and they told be that the hosts could not have been nicer. Met them onsite and showed them through.
