AM's Apartment

Very comfortable and well equipped. Marco and Miriam made us very welcome and were easily contactable. The apartment is in a superb location with bars and restaurants all around. Short walk to the train station and the port. Can highly recommend the cafe next door as per the photo.

Great location in the heart of La Spezia. Host was very welcoming and provided all the important information.

Somehow it is a standard for Italian accommodations, but I find the checkout time of 10AM quite early especially since we checkin a little later. Nonetheless, the host explained this properly and respectfully.

Fantastic apartment in a wonderful location. Very comfy and clean. Had everything we needed.

The only negative was that the pillows weren’t very good.

Very fast and reliable WiFi at over 180mb/s. The heating and cooling are very easy to control and they are very effective. Wonderful location on the pedestrian mall with lots of restaurants in the street and easier than expected to stop close by to drop off luggage. Marco was a wonderful help and met us at the drop off point to help us with the luggage and show us the apartment. He also helped us book a taxi to take us to our car service centre. (Car was being serviced during our stay). The apartment has good water pressure and easy to control hot water temperature. The TV has a wonderful streaming service. The train to the Cinque Terre villages is less than 8 minutes walk away and the ferry is 12 minutes in the opposite direction.

The apartment could use a dishwasher. It has a good iron but no ironing board (very strange). Personally I hate the dreaded Psycho plastic shower curtain. Parking is advertised as free but it is in a poor security location and a distance away. We had booked a secure parking station which was quite expensive but the "free" parking in La Spezia is a bit risky. We managed to book our car in for service work some distance away so we left the car with the service company for security.

Good location within walking distance of train station. Roomy clean apartment. Kitchen was well stocked and hosts provided extras such as drinks, milk, condiments. Hosts greeted us at the apartment and provided helpful information.

Area was very noisy at night which made it difficult to sleep.

The only think we would have liked would have been a drier. It was rainy during our visit so nothing dried on its own. Not a huge deal however. It was still a great place.

The apartment is very bring, we’ll layer out, exactly like the picture show. The location could not have been better.

We had trouble using the washing machine only because we were unfamiliar with it.

Amazing location, great apartment with everything you need and very helpful hosts who leave you with a lot of information about La spezia as well as complimentary wine, orange and water! Would highly recommend AM’a apartment!

Clean, modern, very spacious for two of us, location perfect, good, reassuring communication from hosts. Efficient air-conditioning.

The pillows need replacing, very thin and lumpy synthetic ones. Also more pillows would be good, only two on the double bed and one on the single bed. A small point, didn’t affect our enjoyment, (we used some cushions as pillows) just an improvement that could be made.
