Big Clean Great home away from home

Loved the unit, large, well furnished, good location (close to train station). Beautiful comfy bed and hot shower. Well fitted out kitchen, home away from home.

Spacious and minimalist style was open and airy.

Good for us to climb the steps so we did. If we hiked the Cinque Terre trails, we could climb some steps. There was a lift, so we had a choice.

Excellent well located studio. Great facilities and view.

The hot water can run out if you're three people taking showers one after another. Insufficient toilet paper to last the full stay.

The property is super clean. The beds are comfortable and the bedroom is quite big. Location is 19 minute walk from La Spezia train station and 6 minutes by taxi €20, which we did on our way back to the train station since we left at 5:30 in the morning. The value for the money is excellent if you want to visit Cinque Terre. The harbor terminal for the Cinque Terre is 9 minutes walk. There are many restaurants around the property, we recommend Trattoria Noevo Spezia. The food is excellent. There is a lift in the building and it works very well, since the apartment is on the 5th floor. Don’t be scared. It’s little but works well. The view is also very nice. Marco was very nice and super helpful. We would definitely come back.

Amazing view from the big windows. Spacious apartment for two people. Great location - short walk to the centre (2 min) and the harbour (i.e. for a ferry to Cinque Terre) (5-10 min). We recommend taking the ferry to Cinque Terre - it was amazing. The free parking spot close by (~ 1km) was currently being remodelled so we had to park on the side of the main street next to the house which was around 10 min away but only cost 50 cents per hour (free on Sundays and at night).

We really hated the smell of the cleaning liquid on the furniture (it was honestly incredibly bad for the first two days) but the host promised to change it for future guests. The equipment in the kitchen was quite used - for example, there was little bits of plastic sticking up from the pans and really old looking glasses and plates. Furthermore, there was too little cutlery/glasses/plates for the dishwasher - you basically had to turn it on after each meal which meant that we simply washed it all by hand (mind that we were only two people). Also, there was only one trash bag but we were supposed to recycle everything into four different bins - how are you supposed to do that with only one bin and one trash bag? If the host changes these points we can only recommend the apartment.

Large bedroom and living area, good kitchen, big fridge with freezer. View across the valley. Great that it had a lift given it was on the 5th floor.

Having a washing machine and a car park would have made it even better, but not many places provide these and we managed to get free parking in the street.
