Owls' Rest

We liked everything: the location close to Anakiwa and teh Queen's Charlotte Track but also to Havelock for groceries and cafes. Lots of walks in the vicinity. The place is very quiet and has everything you possibly can need. The hosts are very welcoming and knowledgeable, We highly recommend this accommodation!

Private, gorgeous room and quiet outdoor area. Amazing attention to detail, lovely wee gifts left in the room, plenty of towels, very clean, plenty of hot drink options.

We are forever grateful for their generosity, kindness and all the extras (treats, dog snuggles, great conversation) while discovering the beautiful area of Queen Charlotte Sound ❤️

Very friendly owners, very welcoming.

Very cute place, out of the way from loud traffic. The hosts stayed up to make sure we arrived safely after a lot of ferry delays.

Every little detail got love and attention in this place. And Jill and Peter are the most kind, helpful and welcoming people I’ve met in New Zealand 🇳🇿

Everything was great

If you like owls this is the place for you. Everything was perfect including being serenaded by a Morepork (google it). Jill and Peter very friendly hosts and room was spotless with comfy bed. Recommended.
