It is a very quiet and relaxing location, where your hosts Jill and Peter make you feel very welcome in their beautiful home that sits in farmland at the base of the Queen Charlotte Sound. Wonderful place to stay.

The hosts walked out and met us. Super friendly made us feel welcome the instant we said hello.

An oasis of peace and comfort where you feel at home immediately. Furnished thoughtfully and creatively, the owners ‘ love and warmth is reflected in every detail.

Friendly hosts. Peter showed us his healthy looking vege garden and small orchard. It's great to see people who live with the land and have a conscience around sustainability and the environment which we can see are some of their values. As a crafter myself I appreciated all of the handmade items. The feel is uniquely crafted and cosy. The space is very comfortable with everything you might need including books, games, a little picnic set, BBQ, good information on what to do in the area is provided. The outdoor seating area faced West and was lovely to watch the sunset in the evening with some cold drinks. We would love to have been able to stay longer and would visit again given the opportunity.

I loved the theme room, owl-ceptional, amazing shower, comfortable bed, and full nights sleep. Lots of little extras like lavender pillow spray, biscuits, and chocolates, Jill and Pete really went over and above, and it was appreciated! Lots of local knowledge and an old pub nearby who served fantastic meals. Breakfast in the morning was also amazing. Exceptional Excellence at everything! Thank You!

We loved the peaceful location, lovely garden, relaxed outdoor area, fun and funky owl illustrations and items everywhere, even egg cosies and shower curtain. Super friendly, non intrusive hosts. Nearby pub, The Queen Charlotte, is a friendly and homely place for meals.
