Suites De la Montagne

Very conveniently located and well equipped apartment fully renovated but in an older Montreal walkup which we much preferred to a big hotel. The common area is nice and large and it was great to have two full bathrooms to go with each bedroom. I would definitely stay here again, despite a bit of spillover noise from nearby bars on a couple of evenings. Everything worked well and it is well located for walking and the Metro.

Parking info needs to be updated as it was well over the amount listed but the guy at the lot gave us a bit of a break.

Great location, great host and super responsive.

The pullout couch is not suitable for 2. It is more of a couch with a footrest.

Location was great in terms of being central to downtown Montreal.

When booking the suite, address was listed as suite 200 but we were assigned suite 301 which was on the 3rd floor so we had to walk up two flights of stairs indoors in addition to the flight outside. With a baby, toddler and older parents, this was not clear in the booking otherwise, we would not have booked this location. It was also across the street from a busy night club and the unit is not sound proof even though the listing claims that it is. Again, if this had been clear in the booking, we would not have booked this accommodation. Indoor staircase was also dirty and full of mosquitos

Lots of space, comfrey beds, everything you need is there, lots of shops and food around the area.

The phone number they sent me to contact was never answered, I called and texted but no reply. Even on booking no replies.

Ideal location. Lots of restaurants and touristic sites around.

Not ideal for family with baby. It’s a third floor walk up. You must carry the stroller along with the baby. I thought the parking would be free but it wasn’t. I met have missed the memo somewhere. While changing the sheets, I noticed stains on the mattress. It grossed me out a bit. I requested a crib, I was never given an answer. I requested to check in early, I never got an answer as it would be possible or not. The owner should have a more personal response/name. Their check ins are generic. All the answers seem automated. I would have to redirect or remind the owner to answer my question for them to do so after they would check in
