Suites De la Montagne

I like that it is very accessible since it is in the heart donwtown Montreal. It was very clean and modern. No complains at all. The host was very responsive. I recall i was messaging them at 2am regarding a question about the water and they responded pretty fast.

The TV remote in the living room was broken but we figured we can use the other remotes from the TVs in the bedroom. That’s it. That’s a very very minor inconvenience.

Size, accommodations, decor

Every night between midnight and 4am drunk people would scream, rev engines, and block traffic leading to horns blaring. The windows and walls did not soundproof enough to keep this from waking us up every time

The location was extremely convenient and safe.

The arrival experience could have been better. It was difficult trying to locate how to enter the facility. For after building hours, the backup entrance was not efficient. There was supposed to be an "entrance" key and there was none. I kept calling the manager and I was sent to voicemail and was told that we could only text. It was almost 11pm and we were two young ladies (visiting business associates) stranded outside in the dark. I had to keep texting to see what the updates were and was informed that they were calling other tenants to see who was home to let us in. No compensation or condolences were given.

The apartment was very modern and in a central position. The kitchen and the rooms were very beautiful.

It was a good position in the city and it had a fridge and microwave and washing machine.

It was up three flights of stairs not 1 flight as told. One banister was broken and as I am elderly it was extremely dangerous for both myself and my friends as I had nothing to hold. The floor was not flat is went down and up. The bathroom was slippery and dangerous in the shower and out. The pillows were so small they were useless. There was a half smoked cigarette on a power point in a bedroom. A very noisy floor that due to its bad state creaked everywhere so couldn’t be quiet for others.
