Grand Norfolk

Had a short 3 night stay with my dog. Arrived slightly early so had to ask residents where to find the manager.(entrance stair case was amazing.)But once found he was welcoming and pleasant. Apartment furnishings were basic but comfortable and with good kitchen facilities. Everything was clean, and the hard flooring meant I could easily sweep up any sand from beach walks. The apartment was very spacious, even having a small hallway where the dog slept next to the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. Can't comment on heating as the weather was warm. Hot water was good though. Easy access to the village and the beach by foot. Had a very pleasant stay and found it great value for the price charged. I don't often do reviews but, if you're not expecting champagne accommodation for beer money, it's worth a look.

More picky people might point out a couple of spare holes in the ceiling where light fittings have changed. The wetroom floor did get wet all over, but most wet rooms do! (Just clean your teeth first and get dressed in the bedroom.) It soon dried out. Being a ludite ,some written instructions for the cooker and the microwave would be helpful. The bedding was clean but was a bit worn.

Nice location and view. Tidy apartment. Kitchen had what was needed. Hosts offered a late check out as there was no next customer which was very thoughtful.

Ground floor windows next to children's playing area. They were polite and friendly children.

Flat was very clean good location on bus route but would advise taking a car

The building was once a house or hotel, the smell in the foyer was unusual to say the least: some of the apartments are residential, the children use the entrance area to meet and play badminton The patio door to the flat has been repaired from a previous break in There is no out door signage for the building so you need to look at photographs in order to find it

The apartment was lovely. The view was amazing. Just walk out the back of the building and down a path to see the sea. You had to go down some steps to get to the beach. But I would highly recommend this place. The people were lovely and helpful, and they even let us stay a little later because there was nobody going in after us on that day. It was a great help.

It was conveniently situated near a Tesco Express and easy to walk into the village. It was clean inside the apartment and was reasonably well equipped with a modern cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. It was good value for money.

The outside of the building was a bit scruffy and the pigeon poo on the entrance steps was not very pleasant. We had to wait for someone to arrive to let us into our apartment even though we had said what time we would be arriving. There were a few simple things that could make the apartment better; e.g. a mirror in the bathroom, a towel rail, some place mats and coasters, a salad bowl and mixing bowls. The curtains were very thin in both rooms and it would be better to have black out linings to keep the light out. The pillows were pretty dirty and the duvet was old and falling to pieces. They all need replacing.

Beds very uncomfortable mattresses need replacing and pillows need pillow protectors too. Cobwebs in rooms too. Saucepans didn’t work with the induction hob. Only one bin liner Upper floors of building are let to families new to the UK long term and should be informed of this as lots of children playing football in foyer.
