the apartment was spacious and well equipped

Very difficult to know how to check in/access the apartment as there is no reception or signage anywhere - the building is mainly residential. I eventually found a message on my phone with a mobile number I had to ring for someone to let me inside. Apartment was very noisy at night as the walls are so thin.

This was a self catering apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. We had breakfast there and packed ourselves a lunch but as there is an excellent Chinese, chip shop and pub in the village we had our evening meal from one of these.

Although our apartment was clean and comfortable. The entrance and corridors in the building could do with a little attention. These give a wrong first impression on arrival.

Everything was easy. Helpful host. Nice and clean. Comfortable. Great location. WiFi. Lots of parking. Loved it x

The location. It's beautiful and hugely convenient for exploring the area. Lovely little Tesco opposite for essentials, great pub, chip shop and Chinese/Thai within easy walking distance.

Please read the other reviews, they say everything I was going to put. The location and spaciousness of the Ground Floor Apartment were spot on, but with a little care the place would be spectacular. It's extremely basic and given the length of time it's clearly been that way, it shows a "couldn't care less" attitude toward the guests. Personally I was very happy as I am very positive so easily satisfied and happy to be self sufficient, but my travelling companion has higher standards and was frankly appalled. It's ticked a box for me as I've been visiting Mundesley for years and saw the place as a boarded up hotel for a long time, so I'm happy it's being used and I've finally stayed there.

Location up to expectations as a regular visitor to area.

Could not get any hot water for shower etc and shower room leaked into living area, left a note explaining the problem.

The whole apartment was lovely and relaxing. Good location to drive around East Anglia

The apartment was not very clean, we had to vacuum it ourselves when we arrived as the floors were messy. There were hairs on the bed linen and the sheets and quilt covers have definitely seen better days, fortunately we brought our own pillows. The bedrooms down stairs had mould, were damp and smelt unpleasant. We went out and bought air fresheners but that still didnt help.The upstairs shower floods into the hall. The sofa in the living room is broken. The whole building looks run down and neglected and the lock to the front door of our apartment was loose and not secure. Outside the two bedrooms in the basement the stairs were absolutely filthy with rubbish on them , we kept the curtains closed so we didn't have to look at the awful sight. The kitchen is not well equipped. I think the photos on the site are not representative of all the apartments as the apartment we had certainly didn't look like any of the pictures. I would advise anyone booking here to request NOT to have apartment no 8.

Had a few niggles that were sorted quickly, had a lovely holiday with family and will be going back next year .
