Bedding needs updating

Spacious dog friendly ground floor apartment with access to garden. Close to sea & local shop, amenities and village.Good quality white goods & cooker.Plenty of crockery & utensils. Comfortable beds & sofas. Good size dining table. The Italian manager/caretaker - lovely man, extremely helpful & professional.A credit to the establishment. We had an issue with the boiler which he rectified immediately & asked us if everything else was OK & brought us extra towels for our extra night.He was very concerned that the owner had upset me & asked Paul...is Tracy OK. There was a kind lady in customer services.

The owner of apartment no 4! Extremely rude to us on the phone ref an extra night we had agreed with the manager/caretaker.She said it was not agreed & we had to get out immediately even though we'd payed. I ended up in tears & it marred a lovely holiday & our engagement 💍 There was a few safety issues there...crumbling pillar, some exposed wires.There was also some dirty marks on walls & holes.

Unclean, kitchen cupboards very hard to open. Bed sheets dirty, pillows looked ancient. Dishwasher filter clogged so dishes dirtier than when they went in. Lack of cutlery. Curtain pole fell off when we opened the curtains as it wasn’t fastened on properly. Room wasn’t ready at 3.00 so we had to wait until 4. When we had access to the room the dishwasher was on and we were expected to put the dishes away. Booked for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night. We spoke to another guest who had been told to leave a day early as the room had been double booked!

A double bed. It was a three quarter bed not a double.

The location is really great. The place itself is quiet and overall good.

The flat we stayed in was a two level property with two bedrooms on the ground floor and two additional rooms on a lower underground level. I was happy with the rooms on the ground floor, but we could not physically use the rooms downstairs due to the overpowering smell of washing powder (it was like if you were staying in a laundrette) and damp. The shower needs to be repointed as if you take a shower, some of the water doesn’t go down the drains producing puddles all over the bathroom.

The location is perfect for a holiday with dogs as the dog friendly beach, literally starts down the cliff outside the house. Easy access to the beach down a slope and some steps. The apartment was at the back of the building away from the road, making it really quiet. Value for money is great. Just a short walk into Mundesley. Overall a pretty good holiday.

The bed could do with an update as every time you turn around, the whole bed made lots of noise, and the mattress is not very comfortable.
