We arrived early and could not check in, or leave our bags anywhere, so we had to walk around the streets with suitcases. No instructions for where the pool is located, how to connect to WiFi.. There was a broken PowerPoint that was dangerous. One bed was very uncomfortable.

Town centre near many attractions n transportation

On check-in day. owner request for a copy of credit card front n back by what's app or payID as bond . Otherwise not allow to get in the apartment .They don't take cash. Since we are traveling n tired n not familiar with payID , we gave copy of credit card front n back as instructed . Aa a result we don't feel comfortable during our stay there thinking of the credit card . Maybe there should be other way for the deposit bond. Believe other people also feel not comfortable about this practice . Booking.com should look into this matter. For yr info we also call yr customer service that day to complain this matter.

The ridiculous request to provide photos of credit card & ur ID for a deposit to be taken outside of the booking platform. while booking.com FAQ states this behaviour is a SCAM & we shouldn’t provide it they didn’t care once reported. shower mouldy, hot water takes forever, no free to air TV reception, wifi crap! then they couldn’t work out how to return my deposit ontime! absolutely not worth the hassle! I’ve canceled my credit cards as do not trust them one bit with all the sensitive information i had to provide outside the platform. You’re just asking for fraud to happen with these guys!! its not like they’re a hotel with processes & procedures in place. some random guy collecting data from people!

air con didn’t work properly, only 1 elevator was working on one day.

Good location. close to the free tram network. convenience shops and restaurants nearby.

An inconvenient checkin. The key was in a key safe locked to a fence post outside the building. We had some problems identifying the correct key safe and then phoning for the combination. In addition, checkin was not until 3pm and after you had sent photo details of your credit card so they could reserve $300 against any infringement of the rules. And there were lots of rules, including not dirtying the towels with makeup and cleaning your coffee cups. The idea of a hospitable welcome did not shine through. My bed had a big dip on one side. and I ended up sleeping across the top of the bed. The dining and lounge chairs were very uncomfortable and I couldn’t get the washing machine to work. The verandah is ridiculously small. Our requested ‘view’ was just into other apartments. Only 1 key was supplied. We left before 10am on a Friday morning, but I didn’t get my $300 deposit refunded until the following Wednesday, despite repeated requests, when I was told the accountant was handling it.

The location of the apartment (within a walking distance from Queen Vic Market) is great, so is the view from the apartment (see pictures). The beds are also good. The apartment is smaller than it looks on the pictures of Booking.com, but still spacious enough.

- We provided our ID's and creditcard details a few days before arrival and paid beforehand, but were not given the check in instructions, because there appeared to be a problem with the guarantee of the bond. although our creditcard was not expired and had sufficient balance. When we finally received the instructions after check in time, the lock in which the keys were hidden was not working properly. We were therefore left standing in the rain before the apartment and tried to communicate with the staff on what to do. Finally the solution came in the form of shaking the key holder extensively and hitting it against the bicycle stand so that the lock popped upon. This was very frustrating as we just came off a 24 hours flight. - Furthermore, in the apartment, no information was provided on the WIFI-code, this would have been very handy. - Considering the price of the apartment, more effort could be put to the interior: the dining room chairs look comfortable but are extremely hard, the artificial flowers all still had their (IKEA) price tags on them. Those are small details but important for the overall experience. - Finally, there was mold on the sealents in the bathroom that should be removed.
