proximity to beach. Working lift. Small balcony but with great view.

Apartment block tired and in need of tlc. Both apartments let by Garvetur were very dated.

Location and view was amazing

It was like 60's-70's furniture. Properties need refurbishment

nothing, i knew from the start this place was gona be difficult, was gona cancel but would of lost money,we arrived in on a late flight & had to pay a €30 late booking in charge @ there letting shop 200 yards from the complex to collect the keys & had to had over €400 cash for a breakage/damage deposit, which i have never done anywhere ive stayed before, apartment is rundown, needs total gutting, for a 5 day stay they only provided a few manky towels, we where out for the day when i got a msg from them saying that maintenance work was being carried out & was it ok for them to use the balcony, we arrived back to see workers on are balcony pressure washing/removing paint, strips of paint left all over the place, i then checked my bank account & seen that they charged me double for the taxi service from the airport & to cap it all off on the last morning to had back the keys we had to wait until 09:30 for the cleaners to check the apartment for any damages to get are €400 back as i did not trust them to put it into my account, we had a taxi waiting for the airport but they did not care for the inconvenience they caused, ### avoid this place, save urself the hassel & book an airb&b for a peaceful holiday which i will be doing on my next trip to Portugal ###

kitchen/bathroom is very rundown, no window curtain in the bathroom had to pull over the shower curtain to block the window, no Wi-Fi, the place needs gutting.

The apartment was falling apart , grubby and outdated . Very disappointed

The location was superb as it was overlooking the beach and it had a stunning view. It was next to great restaurants (quite reasonable).

Some nights there was a bit of noise with music playing from the nearby bar.

When we checked into the first room, it was not as we had expected but they tried to accommodate by moving us to another room. They also mentioned that if we had said in our booking about which apartment we would like, they would have tried to ensure that one for us. The apartments are large, with a TV and a nice sized balcony.

Unfortunately, more dislikes than likes. 1. Despite the lady being very nice, communication in English was not easy/possible. We went to the office to collect our keys (5-10m walk from property) and it took us nearly 1 hour before we finally got into our apartment, we were the only people there too, maybe the receptionist was new? She was on the phone a lot... 2. 90% of the photos on the booking are of the nicest apartment they rent out. We were checked into one which looked nothing like 90% of the photos, with many ants, no view and really dated furniture (room 3c). We argued on the phone about this and were (after much debate) moved to the only other available apartment (4c). This was an improvement to 3c, with nicer furniture and a better view. But it is still not like the nicest of the photos advertised. I recommend they take specific photos of each apartment and list them accordingly, not list one apartment and say 'it could vary slightly'. We were sadly really underwhelmed with the apartment, shocked even. 3. There is no WIFI. I must say that it does state this on the listing, however... who checks if they say they have wifi these days?... doesnt everywhere :')? 4. Bathroom is rather unclean, but it is just really old. Same for the kitchen, and for the Sofa. 5. The double bed in 4c is extremely uncomfortable and dated. The two single beds in the other room are newer and comfortable. My partner and I actually slept in the single beds for the rest of our stay due to how uncomfortable the double was after just one night. 6. No clear instructions were given on how to enter the property, we asked the receptionist to bring us up to our apartment, she was about to leave us at the front of the building and it is a huge building that doesnt clearly label the layout of rooms. Leaving us alone would have been rather time consuming and stressful. Receptionists should go to the rooms with customers and give them a small briefing about the apartment.
