Nice clean big and cozy and great location Nice walk to city centre and supermarket over the road

Bathroom was a bit dated pipes hanging with a cloth tie keeping them up shower right next to washing machine and the whole bathroom was flooded after a shower but quicky drained

Location

It wasn't clean, the washroom and the kitchen were very dirty. The fridge was stinking. The images and the reality both are different.

The bed was wow so comfortable. It felt like sleeping in the clouds. I wish I had a bed like that back home. I frequently overslept. That's what I call holidays. White cotton linen and towels. So fresh and clean. Cosy lighting. They never mentioned they had a dishwasher which was a bonus to my relaxed trip. Kitchen well equipped large fridge and electric stove top and oven. Microwave, kettle, etc. wine glasses and basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt, tea, rice, and other things. Maybe it was from the previous guests but it was nice anyway. Everything worked well. Toiletries and cleaning products. Plenty of toilet paper and kitchen towels. Hair dryer. Shopping bags. Vacuum cleaner. Bin bags. Dishwasher tablets,They also had a sauna in the bathroom. I never used it but my son really enjoyed hiding there. Playground downstairs with swings, slide etc. The apartment is walking distance to the arctic museum and a small k supermarket. Also 15 walking distance (if you're a fit person like my daughter, not me)to the main tourist area with shopping centre, restaurants, tourist information, souvenir stalls etc. bus stop 1 minute away. The agency kindly offered several tours during our stay but I rented a car so I didn't use Their services.

It was quite confusing finding the apartment as it said 3 - 11 on the key so we guessed it was in the 3rd floor apartment 11. Nope. It was on the first floor. We only found out after calling the agency and they also directed us to the wrong floor. Maybe it's a standard in Finland and I don't know. Also, the key that opens the apartment is the same that opens the building door. Again... Confusing for someone that comes from England where we only mainly live in houses. The key had to be picked up from a locker in the town. No problem for us as we rented a car and the locker was quite easy to find. About the car, I was charged €50 for parking in the building. I think it's because every designated parking spot was numbered and had an electric car charging station. Not fair as my car was petrol and I never used the facility.

I like the accommodation very comfortably approaching all transport systems. Price can be reduced to some extent in order to stay more days.

It took us a while that the light in the garderobe switches and gooes off itself :))
