Eland Valley Resort

Very peaceful location

The wi fi was non existent which made it difficult to communicate with family. The picture on booking.com does not do justice to the place,the scenery is breath taking.

Increase amenities according to the number of guests in the room eg , toilet paper,house keeping please check eg if all light bulbs are working,we had a kitchen light bulb which was not working for the two days.

The view

Cabin needed a lot of maintenance, inventory did not match what was in the cabin, no wine glasses, old bent and dent fry pan. Braai area difficult to use, shower dirty, tiles broken, no fans, windows cracked and broken, windows stuck, couldn't open, gutters full of holes, paths steep and uneven, parking extremely difficult to get into, bare wires lying on the ground, only one fork in the unit, we happened to find another one in the fire pit!!! No where to put keys when we left, no shelf to put toiletries on in the bathroom , just very scruffy, wont be back.

The cottage was well.appointed. Kitchen was well supplied. Beautiful dam with resident crowned cranes. Eland came into the valley each day.

Double bed is quite small...2 single beds would be better. Cats roaming the property should not be there....a hazard to local wildlife.

The location was number one,just over the lake at the canoes.couldnt ask for more. The accommodation served the purpose we needed. Kitchen had all the necessities and bathroom was clean,neat and spacious. Enough space for our family of 6. The recreation room was thoroughly enjoyed by my boys and myself ,had something for everyone. Very friendly reception staff,was up and about assisting in everyway. Definitely a return guest with extended family.🥰

The bathroom door kept getting stuck someone had to open from outside. That's it.

It's quiet and peaceful, beautiful view and activities.

Wifi speed and TV services

Location is great. Cabin is simple, but adequate. Good towels and linen. View from cabin was more than expected.

Some cabin furniture- like coaches and chairs need an upgrade. Bathroom needs a curtain.
