"Lovely, spacious apartment in an elegant house - perfect base for exploring Lewis and Harris."

Spacious, well-appointed apartment in an elegant turn-of-the-century (1906) house - we felt we'd home-swapped with someone (someone with taste!) rather than it being a holiday rental. On a main road but the bedroom at the back was nice and quiet so, with a very comfortable bed, we had a good night's sleep. Large bathroom with bath plus shower. 10 minutes walk to the centre of town, 15 to the ferry terminal, but under 5 mins to the gorgeous castle grounds; 5 mins to a very large Co-Op. We'd definitely stay again - it was a perfect base for Lewis and Harris at the end of our 2-week trip through the stunning Outer Hebrides.

Nothing could have been better -- Nigel was very prompt in answering any questions.

Garden area was disappointing it was unloved and un cared for. Weather was lovely so it would have been nice to sit outside with a drink after a day exploring.

"Fabulous apartment, great location, easy to explore the island"

The location was great. Close to the centre. The apartment was fantastic, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and the whole place was spotless. Also great to have parking available.

This apartment is very well equipped & comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights & it was great to be able to cook for ourselves & have access to a washing machine & tumble dryer. There was a gas fire & also a fan heater to top up the heating if you felt it necessary. Lovely bathroom & quiet location. The previous comments were helpful about access to the property through the back door & the key safe being inside in the hall way. Knowing this we had no problems accessing the apartment.

The bed is a little low & soft for me, but that is a personal preference I guess.
