The Apartment was very near to marini. It was nice and clean.

Faro was very quiet

absolutely nothing. awful. owners should be ashamed.

the smell of raw sewage. how filthy the whole places was. live electric wires showing. damp in the rooms. pillows that were covered in yellow and brown stains. the list goes on.

Excellent location

Ideal apartment for the centre and marina also just one street back no noise from the bands in the marina.

No aircon just fans but no prob

The location of the apartment was good, right between the beach and marina. Very central. Have stayed in this block before, so don't let what we "didn't like" put you off - just don't stay at this one!

No Air Conditioning - not expected! Just one crappy free-standing fan. Even the guy that checked us in told us the a/c was broken and was trying to fix it, only for someone to call to say the apt didn't have a/c fitted (the unit was still on the wall from when this building used to be a hotel, hence him trying to find a fix). This is not acceptable, certainly not at the price we paid. The apartment was shabby to say the least. Actually, that is being kind! It was in fact tardy - concrete falling away from the balcony wall, kitchen was tiny (so small we didn't even rustle up some breakfast), there was a thread-bare shabby mat under the dining table that flicked up meaning you kept tripping over it, the decor was dated to say the least and the bathroom must have been fitted in the 70's!, it even had a shower curtain (no shower door). No matching towels in the bedrooms, and the sheets on the beds were just gross! The kitchen was fully stocked to be fair, but with what, a load of cheap stuff picked up from the local car-boot - clearly a trip to even IKEA for some new, matching crockery etc. was too much for these owners, who are clearly just in it for the profit! Lots of the draws/cabinets in the main lounge were full of their personal junk, so no room to put out of sight anything of your own. No safe of any description. An umbrella to use by the pool, except the poll was broken! No chairs or sunbeds to take down to the pool (and being a private property, chairs or sunbeds are not provided by the pool, so you should rely on your host). The whole place was shambolic to be honest! Absolutely NO care has been given to this apartment for a very long time! For the price we paid, we were disappointed to say the least, and certainly would not recommend to anyone! We have stayed in far nicer places, in August, in Vilamoura for less money.
