Spacious 1 Bedroom Apartment in Heart of San Diego

I chose to pay for the underground parking. This worked out spectacular.

Close proximity to Balboa Park. Rental price.

The “full kitchen “ is not properly equipped with kitchen equipment. No cutting board, sharp knife, spatula.

Very noisy: Airplanes and super thin ceilings - we could hear every word and activity from the tenant above :( Bad neighborhood: All entrances were secured by bars to provide some safety, but would not walk in that area

Overall we liked the property , Location of the property and the cleanliness was perfect.

washrooms especially bath area can be more spacious . providing water can be a added complementary service .

Easy to check in, good location for price. Full kitchen and a comfortable bed. Very nice host.

The biggest problem is that this condo has pretty much zero sound proofing between units. Thankfully the host did provide earplugs and we also brought some just in case but wow you could even hear people talking. Not ideal if you are a light sleeper. Not to mention it's under the flight path but that's not as noticeable. Less of a problem and easier to fix, the bathroom needed some repairs, there was visible water damage on the bottom left of the shower, the shower curtain had a small hole in it seemingly from it being a bit stiff as it barely covered enough so that the water would actually stay in the shower pan and the drain in the shower would eventually back up, leaving you standing in water.

Good location to see air plane closely. And there is cute and stylish cafe nearby 5min walk.

Next room or upstairs room sound was so loud and noisy.

Very close to downtown and basically attached to Balboa Park. Very spacious and comfortable room with all that we needed to cook at home and relax for the weekend

Location would be great if we didn't have a campground of homeless folks just outside the door. While we understand the homeless situation in SD is out of control, and nothing really happened, it just didn't feel like a safe location to have for instance a car park. Parking is quite difficult, everything seems to be 2hr parking only and it's Mon to Saturday, only Sunday is free, which made it extremely hard to park. Additional free parking on the listing is very limited.
