Spacious 1 Bedroom Apartment in Heart of San Diego

Location, privacy between bed and living room/kitchen, view of park, balcony, quiet.

Headboard needs to be attach to bed frame or permanently mounted to wall. Wished there was a bowl to pour popcorn into in kitchen. Bathroom ceiling light was flickering, bathroom vent fan cover needs to be dusted as well as vent above door in hall.

The bed was very comfortable, the location was absolutely perfect, and the price was right!

The dishwasher did not work, the fan in the bathroom barely worked, and one of the lights in the bathroom kept flickering on and off. The shower curtain did not stay in the shower very well, so the bathroom floor frequently got wet. The headboard on the bed was incredibly loose, and there was a large gap between the mattress and the headboard, where things could easily fall.

The location was perfect, the apartment we got had a gate entrance from the main street across from Balboa Park. Beautiful walk through the park. The place was super tidy and perfect stay for me and my toddler. The bed was huge, soft, and the air conditioning was great. Because the bedroom was kind of walled off (small hallway), someone could be sleeping while the other one was in the lounge/kitchen without disturbing. We loved it! There was great coffee place a short walk away - very hipster place. Easy parking although be vigilant in paying the meter because they come by often! I got stung because I was five minutes later to put money in the meter. The meter parking was really cheap or you could find free parking some days/nights. The pub on the corner makes amazing burgers!

It could have benefited from a few more things in the apartment. We stayed a little over a week and there wasn't enough toilet paper, there were no tablets for the dishwasher, no extra rubbish bags, it needed a few additional things to use the kitchen like oven trays. The shower often sprayed and spilt water all over the floor. The apartment had another apartment above, it was very noisy. People forgetting their code and alarms going off, banging up and down the stairs and making a lot of noise above you - was a little bit difficult to deal with when you have a toddler with you. I would have been more tolerant if I didn't have a child with me.
