Anchor Point

Location was the best thing! Overlooking the harbour. Lovely view from the living room, big rooms in general and nice bedroom and bathrooms :) The Size of the place was surprising I really didn’t think it would be that big. Was also Comfy beds. Nice Fresh clean towels too :) Would stay again good value based on couples or a group sharing.

The outside was looking somewhat tired and although it’s not part of the property the access steps to the left of the property had broken glass, cans and rubbish which was a shame for such a beautiful space. They did put milk in the fridge which was nice but no coffee or tea provisions when we arrived - it would have been an additional nice touch. Also was abit stressful as we booked close to date of arrival and the owner didn’t reply within 24 hours, he did reply though later on and was very helpful. We were just getting worried.

Great location overlooking the harbour and the Farne Islands

No hot water. I messaged the host on the first night via booking.com app but they never replied (we had communicated on the same message three prior to arrival). The phone number they had provided didn’t work. So we had to spend the whole trip without hot water, other than the electric shower. Equipment is the kitchen was limited eg no oven gloves which was a safety hazard

Just could do with a bit modernising and a few more essential items in the kitchen ie chopping board.

Excellent location, within walking distance of pubs & restaurants. Great views of harbour. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. Excellent communication from owner.

Upstairs shower could be improved, more powerful.

Fabulous location, brilliant view, lovely clean house, well equipped.
