Brilliant location right on Seahouses harbour and within walking distance of loads of good pubs and restaurants

The property was a little dated in terms of decor and a few minor niggles (kettle that didn’t switch itself off, missing button on shower, cracked cable cover on towel rail) just slightly detracted from the overall impression of excellence that I might have expected for a premium priced property. None of these were big issues though and wouldn’t stop me from recommending to others

Excellent position for watching the harbour also for access to the town/restaurants/pubs and shops. Comfortable and nicely decorated, kitchen well equipped. Good place as a base to see Northumberland.

side by side fridge and freezer was difficult to close as doors and need some repairs as it was frustrating having to work out getting them both to close. Not possible to sit out on the balcony as its not very wide and there were no seats,

The location is great especially if, like us, you don't drive. Easy to get to on public transport and amenities and great walks nearby. Boat trips are just a few minutes away at the harbour too. Nice view over the harbour which could be enjoyed from the comfortable sofa. We didn't have much contact with the landlord but in what little interaction we had he was very nice and accommodating.

Though perfectly clean the flat was a little tired, and there were a few things that weren't provided (or we couldn't find) in the kitchen such as baking trays. None of this is a problem but I do think the cost is a little high for what you get, even with the great location. That being said, it was no more than many other properties in the area so I understand. I found the bed uncomfortable, but my husband didn't, so that's just me!

Well equipped, had everything we needed for a short stay. Fresh milk in the fridge was very thoughtful thank you. The best thing was the outstanding views from living room and bedrooms. We saw dolphins from our bedroom window! The property was very clean, and in a great central location.

Toilet flush upstairs was a bit temperamental and the shower cubicle was ‘tired’. The balcony was great but floored with fake grass which was wet and covered in moss so we were scared to use it in case we made a mess. Would be such an asset to the property to be able to sit there on a nice evening.

Fantastic location, we've visited Seahouses for 20 yrs and this accommodation is up there for location. Owner/host was very accommodating and very prompt with replies to queries. 👍

Property right in the middle of Seahouses with a great view across harbour. 100 yards walk to Black Swan which is a lovely pub with great food. Recommend a booking but also, if you are prepared to wait, tables become available in the bar. Boat journey to Farne Islands is only 200 yards away. Seeing all the birds was great. Puffins April to July is a must.

The location was superb with views out to the harbour and beyond. It was in a position local to shops, restaurants and the pubs. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Just a few issues through general wear and tear. Left the owner a small list of things that need to be rectified.
