Modern Loft Grand Central

So close to the station, clean and spacious.Well equipped.

Mattresses are lumpy and need to be changed in bedroom and particularly on the sofa bed where we kept rolling into each other.

Good location, easy access to city centre.

The flat was very cold, central heating was set to 16.5 C degrees while outside temperature was 2 C degrees. Had to use electric heaters! Hot water was only available 3 times a day for couple of hours! Draught was coming through the sash windows! For £ 120 a night, the least you would expect is a running hot water at all times and a warm place! I had a horrible experience!

The sitting room would have been noisy to sleep in as it overlooks a room where the night life is busy/lively.

Private and better than staying in a hotel

I found working out putting in PIN codes a little bit challenging and to operate the lift I had to get guidance but once I understood the tech all was fine. Due to external noise on street it is only comfortable for sound to sleep in the back bedroom.

the apartment was clean, spacious, well laid out, with beds prepared for the correct number of guests (with sofa beds made up into bed format ready) the décor was lovely, I liked it that much I have rebooked for next month.

no issues or suggestions for improvement, it was lovely, well thought out, with everything catered for a short stay, great communication prior to arrival and great location

The washing machine was the reason I booked the apartment, it was not working, it had mouldy tea towels in it. The owners advised there was an error on the listing and they were trying to get the washing machine fixed. I advised that was the reason I booked it. They suggested going to a laundromat, the closest was a few KMs away....not an option. They did not answer when I requested a discount for the inconvenience. The washing machine however was still listed on their listing. We could not get the shower to work. I contacted them and there was no reply, couldn't contact them by phone ( tried 2 numbers). It was very inconvenient to have a shower under the bath faucet. The hot water was also available for less time than what was stated. Not very good memories for us in Birmingham.

Nice apartment on the 5th floor, very spacy, clean, nice view and lots of light coming through windows. Well equiped kitchen with all utensils, big table for breakfast or to work on your laptop, nice bathroom. Cosy sofa, TV. Apartment so close to main railway station, cafés and restaurants around, could walk everywhere easily, grocery shop next door. Felt quite safe with a door lock. Would stay again.

Noise from a night club nearby (in bedroom it was ok) :( Small issues with using door code, but resolved and apt owner was available via messages.
