"An absolute gem in the Southern Berg - it will be very hard to beat the cottage, the view & hosts!"

Our hosts Virginia and John were just wonderful and so helpful and engaging. The cottage is absolutely perfect with such thought into everything from the view to the appliances. The rescue donkeys, dogs and the ducks were just the cherry on the cake!

The hosts, John and Virgina are wonderful and extremely accommodating. The unit was neat and cosy, the kitchen fully equipped and the hosts even go the extra mile in providing spices, oil, milk etc. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset View and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation.

"Relaxing beautiful setting, good for the soul."

The host John met us on arrival and showed us to the beautifully decorated cottage and showed us all the workings of the unit. We were even given chicken feed to feed the chickens in the morning as they come to the cottage asking for food. It was too precious. We also had two gorgeous donkeys as neighbours. Super peaceful. Loved the views and beautiful sunsets.

"Sunset view cottage"

The hosts were very friendly and helpful with ideas of things to do in the area.

The bed is hollow in the middle, so it wasn't comfortable to sleep on.

"Spacious and modern cottage close to Underberg"

Modern, spacious cottage. More than usual amenities, eg. kit for hiking and extra appliances for a longer stay. Friendly pets that are not a nuisance.

Bed requires a top sheet to avoid sleeping directly under the duvet. Road from Underberg could be scary when wet, for non 4x4 vehicles. .
