City Centre Penthouse

The property manager was very rude. He took my £400 deposit and hasn’t given me back. I cleaned the whole of the apartment and he lied about the situation. I’m not happy about this and I would like my money back.

Location was very good for walking into the centre and to the restaurants and canalside area near the "Mailbox". Surprisingly very quiet for a location so close to Birmingham centre. Safe gated parking area. Very easy to drive to from M6 using aston expressway. Very good communication with hosts who responded efficiently to all questions. Well equipped kitchen area, although we only used it for breakfast.

Balcony was a bit weathered and worn and could do with a spruce up. Minor problem with loss of water pressure on one evening, but corrected quite quickly following message to host.

I booked this accommodation for my mother, and she was absolutely thrilled with her stay. The apartment was very clean. she described it as smelling freshly sanitized, which made her feel comfortable and at ease right away. The towels and bed linen were fresh, and the whole apartment was spacious, including a lovely, large balcony. The kitchen was well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like olive oil, spices, coffee, and tea left for guests to use. The owner, Manuel, was incredibly kind and helpful—he was always just a phone call away and answered all questions promptly. Thank you for making her stay in Birmingham such a positive experience. She’s already planning to stay here again and has recommended it to her sister who’s visiting this summer with her family.

There was only one issue: the safety deposit has not yet been refunded. She checked out on May 9, and we were expecting it to be returned at that time. Hoping this can be resolved soon.

Excellent communications before and during our stay. Lovely bright apartment with no road noise. We felt very safe walking to and from the city centre and canal area, which were a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

No television channels available throughout my stay. The host did visit twice but was unable to sort out the problem.
